This section represents a series of snow-related works. Being a part of the freestyle ski scene in Italy has been a beautiful piece of connection for Matteo. Documenting this sport gives him the opportunity to remain connected to a sport and lifestyle that has been so important to him.

"Level 1 is proud to announce Giorgia Bertoncini as the SuperUnknown XVI Women's winner! For the first time ever we officially put out the call to women around the world to submit their entries and received over a dozen entries from some of the most talented up and comers in the sport. Judges agreed that Giorgia stood above the rest with her combination of technicality, creativity, and style and we’re looking forward to having her join us along with the 10 male Finalists in April!"
In 2019, Giorgia asked Matteo to film and edit her video in order to participate in the "Superunkown XVI," a video contest organized by Level 1.
With great surprise, they won the contest and flew to Colorado to meet the guys from Level 1 production. Giorgia and Matteo had such a good time participating in and documenting this event. For Matteo, it felt surreal to stand beside Josh, a figure who he has always looked up to in the world of ski films.
